Of course the buses and train do not run anymore.

The church has two stories of Corinthian columns and is decorated with religious statues. Above the double wooden door is a statue of Mary and the baby Jesus. Inside the church, the final resting places of the Doges of Venice line the walls. Now the defense divisions of the Eroi use it as place of relaxation. Pews have been replaced by comfortable chairs and sofas, and of course there are a few televisions. The church is also a nice place for the Eroi soldiers to get a free meal once in a while.

Correctly the Palazzo Santa Sofia is regarded as one of the most beautiful palazzi on the Grand Canal in Venice. One of the older palazzi, it has always been known as Ca' d'Oro or golden house due to the gilt and polychrome external decorations which once adorned its walls. Once a gallery to the public, it is now an indoors athletic center. Various exercise machines fill the second and third story of the palace. Showers have been installed on the first story, so that the Venetians may refresh themselves after their work out.

[ ]Basilica di San Marco
The cathedral of Venice, is the most famous of the city's churches. It lies on St Mark's Square and it is connected to the Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. Originally it was the "chapel" of the Venetian rulers, and not the city's cathedral. The basilica is now used as the court of the Favole and the Venetian elite. The alter was replaced with a throne for the Regis of Venice, and the pews were removed so that there would be room for musicians, buffet tables, and other paraphernalia that the social elite might need.

[ ]Palazzo Ducale di Venezia
The palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice. The palace connects to the Basilica di San Marco and serves as a residence to the royal family of Venice, the Favole. Its two most visible facades look towards the Venetian Lagoon and St Mark's Square, or rather the Piazzetta. The use of arcading in the lower stories produces an interesting "gravity-defying" effect. There is also effective use of color contrasts.
